Andy Murray's record in Grand Slam major singles finals is impressive. He has reached the final of 11 Grand Slams, the ninth best total of the Open Era. He is in the top 10 for most match wins at three of the four Grand Slams, 5th at Wimbledon, 8th at the Australian Open and 10th at the US Open. Murray is a three-time Grand Slam champion, winning the US Open in 2012 and Wimbledon in 2013 and 2016. He is also a two-time Olympic champion, winning gold in singles at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics. Murray defeated Novak Djokovic in five sets in the 2012 US Open final, becoming the first British man to win a Grand Slam final since Fred Perry in 1936 and the first Scottish-born player to win a Grand Slam title in the Open Era.
